I ordered a sari with a beautiful block print on eBay a few weeks ago and it came today! It's the funniest thing, it was sent in a cloth bag that was sewn closed and the stamps were taped on to that. I had to snip the threads to open it.

Now I just have to finish the stays and undies and I can get started, I can't wait

Oh how funny! Glad it got to you ok and didn't end up shipping through a rain storm. The print is fab and I can't wait to see your new dress!

you'd have to ask Kass cause she's more of an expert than me, but we've gotten some sari's shipped in similar ways when we order them wholesale.

It's a fabulous print! and it's going to look awesome on you!

That is a pretty print! And hah, one of my orders of saris was sewn in a cloth bag as well - but mine was then wrapped in brown paper and taped, and the tape stuck to the cloth bag, and I had to rip it off, and was getting nervous, like AM I RIPPING MY SARI OH CRAP. Thank you, India! Or Bangladesh. I forget where that one was from.
