Let's try something new

I don't know what's been happening lately, but I've seriously caught the regency bug, like I want to start over and do it right. Which means starting with the undies. Now I have started to try stays before, but I always got frustrated and quit, so I was very surprised when I managed to spit these out in a little over a day. And I think they turned out ok for a first try, but then again, I am new to this period.

I used the reconstituting history pattern and made it out of some linen toile a friend gave me, some twill and canvas and boned it with reed from other failed attempts. Now all I have to do is bind it, which is easier said then done. Then I think I need a new shift and a petticoat.

Ooo well done! excellent shape! but yeah the binding is the biggest pain, I've been known to wear them for years unbound...what can I say I'm lazy and no one sees my undies...
