After every event I'm usually inspired to make the next big thing, and this time is no different. Unfortunately, I have no occasion to wear my new dream dress. I want an Edwardian ball gown, I even have the inspiration and fabric for it. But I can't think of where I'd wear it in the next year. I don't do cons anymore. Could I sneak it into the new castle ball? Could I make an s- curve corset and gown in five weeks? This is a new era, so I'd need to start from scratch from the inside out.

What about a trip to a tearoom? I know it would be fancy, but it would be very cool. You could find a tearoom with some Victorian/Edwardian decor.

Sounds lovely! I have only recently been charmed by Edwardian stuff-- I didn't realize I'd like it so much!

I think you'd look smashing in an Edwardian ballgown! Personally I know I wouldn't be able to do a corset *and* a ballgown in that amount of time, though.

(Robin and I have started planning my 30th birthday though, despite it not being til 2018, mostly because she started threatening me with a surprise...and without spoilers, an Edwardian ballgown would be quite acceptable for that ;) )
