Long time, no post

I'm way over due for s post. Let's see... The last thing I was at was the Allaire barn dance, which was in the visitors center and not bythe barn as we hoped. I finished my 1830s dress. It's made of blue taffeta( dyed by me) with rose appliqués sewn along the skirt as in the fashion plates. Even though the dance wasn't what I expected, I still had a wonderful time.

I love how crazy colorful this is! it reminds me of some of the early California Spanish-influenced clothing I've seen.
