part one done

I finished the large motifs for the black dress. It only took forever. Next, I'm going to scatter smaller flowers and spangles over the skirt then finish it with a border at the hem. I really hope I finish this before I lose interest. I'm starting to think about the fall and winter events. I'd like to make an 18th century drawstring dress and possibly update my 1860s wardrobe.

That looks lovely! It would be a shame not to finish it, definitely don't distract yourself (too much, a little bit of CADD is a good thing). What kind of drawstring dress are you thinking of?

It's beautiful! And wow, that's labor-intensive; go, you! Don't get toooooooo distracted over the rest of the year (although I admit I'm thoroughly enjoying planning for the Ebenezer Maxwell christmas thing! even though I already have a dress! still fun), I can't wait to see it finished.
