Beads are expensive. $8 for a 6 in string! Does anyone have a source for cheap beads?

I'm looking for small jet or gun metal beads, 6 or 4 mm. Facited ideally. I calculated that I'll need about 500. But if I can't get them cheap, I can rethink the project.

Depending on what you're looking for, I've found Shipwreck Beads to usually be pretty reasonable.
